We Speak The Languages Of Film And Code
YAM 01 has a point of view. That is the difference.
Most AI models know film the way a first-year film student does: from books. YAM 01 reads a script the way a filmmaker does. We trained it on our own production data, shaped by years of filmmaking experience. That training gave it opinions. A model that has only read about film will still give you an answer, and it will sound plausible. On set, a plausible but wrong call sheet gets expensive fast.
For the producer
One script change can affect the breakdown, the schedule and the call sheets. YAM shows you the updates before they go out.
For the commissioner
Most projects reach you when the plan is already locked. See the production plan while you can still shape it.
For the director
Your vision carries from prep to set. References, location notes and shot decisions stay with the work, so you don’t have to explain them twice.
It's the harness, not the model.
What matters is the cost of getting a result you can actually use. Every rejected AI output and retry adds to that cost. YAM is built to reduce the retries.
We can change AI models as they improve, while keeping our own efficient model as the default. The production information, checks, corrections and record of decisions stay together, whichever model we use.
UsefulnessIs the breakdown right? Is the shot list any good? Does the schedule hold? Did it keep your intent? Not just sound convincing.
DirectionWe’re building the benchmark around real production tasks from our own slate. The numbers shown are targets, not yet measured results.

Be part of the YAM pilot
We’re opening the pilot to filmmakers and production professionals who take projects from script to screen. It opens in Q4 2026, free for participants we select.
Gengis Studio Services
Have a specific production or media workflow problem? Gengis also works directly with companies through private, paid engagements. This is separate from the free YAM pilot.
FAQ
What is YAM?
A production system for film and television. It helps carry a project from script through production while keeping the people making it in control.
What can I make using YAM?
We are focused on short films, micro dramas, TVCs and short-form content for now.
Who can apply?
Producers, filmmakers and production companies of any size. You do not need a large slate or a technical team. You do need a real project, the rights to work with the material, and time to work closely with us.
How do you choose pilot projects?
A project in development or prep, a clear production problem, and people willing to give direct feedback. Format and budget matter less than fit.
What does the pilot involve?
We agree on one useful part of your workflow, define what success looks like, and work through it with you. Guided early access with direct contact with our team.
Does the pilot cost anything?
No. Early YAM pilots are free for selected producers, filmmakers and production companies. We agree on scope, time and terms before any work begins.
What happens to my scripts, footage and other material?
Your project remains yours. Project material is isolated by default. We do not use it to train or improve a shared system unless you give separate, explicit permission in writing.
Who makes the creative decisions?
You do. YAM helps your team carry decisions through the production and see consequences earlier. Creative approval stays with the people making the project.
